Ezy Group is proud to sponsor the Mackay Christian College Trade Training Centre Formula High School regularity teams, helping students bring their automotive, engineering and design skills to life on the track.
As a locally owned Mackay business, Ezy Group is passionate about supporting opportunities that encourage young people to explore hands-on learning, trade pathways and future careers in the automotive, mechanical, engineering and manufacturing industries.
In October, the Mackay Christian College teams travelled to Brisbane to compete in the Annual Formula High School Event at Lakeside Park. The event brought together more than 400 students from schools across the region, all showcasing vehicles they had spent the previous 12 months designing, building, refining and preparing for competition.
A real-world learning opportunity for Mackay students
The Formula High School program gives students the opportunity to develop practical skills in design, fabrication, mechanical preparation, teamwork, problem-solving and project management.
For the Mackay Christian College Trade Training Centre teams, the event was the result of months of dedication, learning and hands-on work. From vehicle design and engineering through to testing and race-day preparation, the students demonstrated impressive commitment and technical ability.
Ezy Group was honoured to play a small part in supporting their journey and helping make this experience possible.
